304 stainless steel construction. Black molded cap covers socket when not in use. Ideal for additional power outlets. Works with most cigarette style plugs. Socket can be mounted in non metallic panels up to 1/4" thick or metallic panels up to 1/8" thick without the front plate. Front plate overall dimensions: 2" W x 1-1/2" H. 7/8" diameter hole required for panels 1/4" thick or less 1-1/8" diameter hole required for panels thicker than 1/4". Minimum of 2-1/4" clearance required behind mounting location. Rated up to 16 Amps. 12 Volts DC
