FORGED ANCHOR SHACKLES Are hot dipped galvanized. Meet Federal Specifications RRC-271b Type IV. Size, work load and trademark permanently marked on each. Loads are based on asfety factor of 5 to 1. When tested all are pulled at uniform rate of speed in a direct tension. Any deviations as angular lifts, shock loads, modification of basic forging will result in drastically reduced maximum loads.
