Product Overview
The ABFO scale was designed by the American Board of Forensic Odontology (ABFO.) The ABFO scale has become the standard for bitemark measurement and photography. The incorporation of three circles is useful in helping to compensate for distortion resulting from oblique camera angles. Available in inches and metric. (Inches is the ABFO standard)
- Rigid, 1mm thick L-shaped laminated plastic
- Gray areas have a reflectance value of approximately 18%
- Alternating black and white bars permit measurements from grossly over- and under-exposed photographs
